Fun Friday!

Friday, Addison & I headed to see Disney On Ice: Rockin' Ever After with Gigi! We've been to a few others before, but I was really excited about this one now that Addison is a little older.

We had awesome front row seats! It was pretty chilly & ice from the rink would spray on us occasionally. It was pretty funny to see some of these costumes up close (like the first borns from Brave & the guys from the Snuggly Duckling in Tangled) some of the cast would even say funny things to us when they were close by.
Addison got waves from most of the Princesses! (: The first half of the show she didn't move a muscle. I think it was a lot to take in at first. The second half she warmed up a bit & starting cheering and even sang a little.

It was a fun morning to spend with Gigi. Thank you for these special moments mom!

Hanging with Belle before the Show!
Addison went home with Gigi afterwards to feed the ducks & get ready for Morgan's 14th birthday party!
After the show!
This Friday was also my monthly Spazmatic date with Lynette! It was my last one living in the area, but I am definitely coming back for more.

Lynette and I both have pretty busy schedules so I am thankful for this to catch up & have fun together. We are going to bring our boys to a show hopefully soon!!

Week Recap

Sunday, Cameran & I woke up bright & early to head to the Sam Houston Race Park for our first 5k. It went better than I expected. I haven't ran in over a month & I probably should have. We finished in 32 minutes. Not too terrible!

Before
We also ended up getting WAY more colored than I expected. Overall, it was fun and I will have to prepare better next time so Cameran doesn't have to wait on me. (:

After
Afterwards, we went to a Y in the area to shower. We were suppose to get to see our rental house again, but it ended up not working out. (Cameran still hasn't seen it & I didn't take a single picture!)

We dropped by Ikea to check out some furniture and then we went to a Houston Dynamo soccer game. (Houston won!)  It was a nice day that we were able to spend with each other kid-free!

Monday I met up with my mom to pick up Addison. She came home with a tiny turtle! He is really cute. I took him to swim team practice so my team could name him. They picked out the name Sheldon.

On Tuesday, we had a playdate with friends at Jumping World. It was awesome! We will definitely have to go back.

It is a huge building filled with trampolines and a few inflatable bounce houses. Our group had the whole building to ourselves and it was a lot of fun and not to mention a great work-out.

Addison wanted to eat dinner with Sheldon that night. She also insists that he likes to watch TV.

Thursday, we had our Little Gym class. Addison has been doing so well lately. I hope when we transfer to the Katy Little Gym she keeps it up.

Addison & Miss Amanda
Katie & Addison are TOO funny at Little Gym. They chase, tackle, hug, and tickle each other.

It ended up pouring rain the rest of the day. Addison & I hung out on our patio & enjoyed it. I love sweet moments like this.

Busy Weekend!

Saturday bright & early I had my first swim meet as Head Coach for the E.A. Smith YMCA! We had a GREAT first meet & my swimmers did wonderful. I am so proud of them!

Jayla, my youngest swimmer! I've been teaching her since she was in swim lessons!
My heart was torn though. I have been an assistant coach for the Perry Penguins for the past two years. It was weird not being a part of their team. The Penguin kiddos gave me a hard time about it the whole meet. (They are STINKERS!) I will miss both of my teams when we move. It has been a big part of my life while we have been in this area.

After the meet was over, we headed to the Park with Peaches.

It was a sunny day & after our long week Addison had a great time running around at the Park.

Cheesy Cheese!
League Park is one of our favorite playgrounds. There is so much to do & they have an awesome pond filled with turtles! Addison could watch the turtles all day. After the park, we enjoyed some Ice Cream with Peaches & then headed to Navasota.
