Friday (:

I am almost all caught up! Thankfully I was a little behind because we have just been hanging at home the past couple of days.

Friday:
Watching us set up at 6 AM
We started our day bright & early (even Addison). We started setting up for the Yard Sale around 6 AM.
Helping us write prices.
It was a pretty busy morning and we spent most of the morning trying to organize everything.

One of the pictures I found! Me at one of my birthday parties.
While we were waiting for people to finish their "shopping" I cleaned out some of my bins in my parent's garage from my high school days. It was pretty funny & embarrassing to read letters from those days.  I'm very glad that time of my life is over! I can't believe I've been out of high school going on 4 years already.

We had a pretty successful morning and Addison's total for Friday was 159.85! It was great to see all the clothes I've had stored forever going to new homes!
Finally opening Christmas Presents!
Opening Birthday & Christmas!

After the Yard Sale was over, we rested for a while and then we headed over to see Heather & Caiden. (:
Kisses!
We haven't seen them in so long! It was nice to hang out & watch Caiden & Addison play. They were so much fun to watch. I'm pretty sure Heather & I could of watched them play all day.

Aren't they adorable?
They were so silly together & had a great time. So sad we don't get to see them more often!

We headed home & Addison crashed! She had a big day & even bigger one Saturday.

Catch Up!

I missed quite a few days last week so I gotta play a little catch up!

Wednesday:
Crafting away!
On Wednesday Addison & I started on her Valentine Cards to send to Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles! It was a little bit harder than I was expecting and we still have quite a few to make. Hopefully we can finish or they may be a little different. I won't be posting pictures until after everyone receives theirs so no sneak peek just yet! (:

Addison can successfully do a forward roll! YAY! We've been working on it since we started our Little Gym classes.
Checking out the Ducks
We ended our day with a walk at the College of the Mainland pond with Lynette & her doggy Bailey. We also brought along Bear with us. It was relaxing, the weather was beautiful & the pond was filled with ducks!

Thursday:

She impressed me climbing this slide!

This was a super busy day for us!

Goofball only slides down backwards.

We celebrated Katie & Anisa's 2nd birthday at Fun Max Jump-In! I can't believe all the babies are turning two!

Aren't they so cute sitting together?

It was a really fun party! Inflatables are one of Addison's favorite things to do these days & not to mention I always feel like I get to sneak a good workout in.

We took a break from all the jumping, climbing, & sliding to eat some snacks & enjoy juice. Then it was time for a yummy cookie cake!

Time to dig in!
Cake Face! (:

We stayed for a bit longer and played. I was hoping to wear her out because we had a busy afternoon of packing, teaching a private swim lesson & heading to Navasota!

Bento Lunch for Childwatch

I lived in this area (Galveston/Texas City), going on 4 years. I have never driven by myself back home to Navasota. I have pretty awesome family & a loving fiance to drive Addison & I back and forth all these years. I know its only around a 2 hour drive, but I don't like to drive & I'm super afraid of Houston haha.
Saying goodbye to Daddy for the weekend!
Thursday night Addison & I drove by ourselves for the first time and it was a smooth easy trip! We headed to bed because we had an early morning for our yard sell!

Olive Garden & Challenger Park

Happy MLK day! (:

Cameran had the day off from school & work today & we took full advantage. We slept in late & had lots of morning snuggles with Addison.

We had an Olive Garden gift card from Christmas & decided to go for lunch.

Addison was awesome! I think its because we were in a booth instead of a table, letting her have some wiggle room. She happily colored, drank some lemonade, & ate lots of good food! YUM!

Beautiful Day at the Park
Monkey See, Monkey Do
After our yummy lunch, we headed to Challenger Park. Cameran doesn't normally get to go to the parks with us and we've only been to this park one other time. It was such a beautiful day and it couldn't be wasted inside.

Addison holding a Lady Bug! She was in love.
We played at the back playground for quite a while, then decided to try out the others. The front playgrounds were suited more for her age, but she only wanted to play in the rocks.
Buried in the Rocks
She loved Cameran being able to come with us today. He always has to miss out on our adventures & she wanted to show him everything.
Addison laughing at Daddy as he slides down.
Then it was off to HEB for our weekly grocery stock-up shopping. We got the huge car cart so Addison could "drive" & she got to enjoy a dum-dum.
Shopping treat!
When we got home, Cameran started dinner & I went for my daily run. I ran the longest so far in the past 6 days (had to work off that Olive Garden haha) and made it 4.27 miles. Maybe I will be ready for a 5k sooner than I think.

Spazmatics & Workouts

"Joey" from Spazmatics
Friday I had a busy evening planned. We had our monthly MNO for our playgroup & I was going to a Spazmatics show with my friend Lynette.

I ended up not being able to make the MNO dinner, but the Spazmatic show started at 10:15 so I was still able to go. I was worried all day about not being able to stay awake & being too tired to enjoy myself, but I was wrong!

Our View of the Show!
It was such a FUN show & I am now a Spazmatic Addict. If you have never been to their show they come to Webster once a month. Lynette & I have decided to make it our monthly "date night" together.
Lynette & I with our favorite Spaz after the show.
It was great to catch up with Lynette. She is one of my besties. When I met her at our trainings for swim instructor we instantly clicked & I feel like we've been great friends forever. I'm so glad we share a love of nerds & 80s music. (:

Sweaty Post Run!
In other news, I am still going strong on working out. Its only been 5 days, but I've manage to go workout at least once, sometimes twice a day. Maybe it won't be so hard to keep up, but we'll see!

Playing with Gigi.
Snuggles with Sleepy Poppy.
Other than that, its been pretty low key at home. We got a short visit on Saturday from Gigi, Poppy, & Morgan and did a little deep cleaning.

Addison playing dress up.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend! (:

Quiz

Happy Friday! (:

Hope everyone has a great day!

I saw this quiz blog-post on my friend Carly's blog & thought I'd participate as well!

What is the wall paper on your cell phone?
My two loves. (: This has been my longest lasting wallpaper. I usually change it to various pictures of Addison.

What do you keep beside your bed?

I don't have a bedside table, but right next to my side of the bed is water bottles. I go through water like crazy & always wake up several times during the night (not a good sleeper) & want water.

What is your least favorite chore?

Putting away laundry! I don't mind washing them & I don't mind folding them, but for some reason putting it away is awful. This is the after picture of a recent clean out Addison's closet project. I'm too embarrassed to post the before. YIKES!

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine what would it be?

Sleep. I'd love to be able to not ever sleep & have way more time to do things.

What do you do to vent anger?

I'm a big baby & a crier. I cry for pretty much every emotion.

What is your favorite holiday of the year & why?
Now that I have Addison my favorite is probably Halloween right now. She loves trick or treating, Dewberry Farm, pumpkins, and she is my October baby. I'm sure this will change as she gets older, but right now that one is really fun! Christmas is a close second.

Little Gym

Addison is on her second month at the Little Gym. We tried out the trial in November and she did pretty well. My parents ended up getting her a membership shortly after. I was so excited because its something I've been wanting to do with her, but we couldn't financially just yet.

Addison headed to Little Gym! She had to bring a purse, her "baby", & Mickey Ears!
First week of actual class and it didn't go well at all. She was a BIG drama queen! It took her about three classes to finally adjust to it & now she loves it. I am glad we decided to stick it out because I considered just waiting and trying again later on.
Testing out the New Trampoline with Katie
I think it has been great having her in a (semi) structured class. She isn't in any kind of daycare and just hangs out with me all day. We have a set nap & sleep time, but other than that our schedule varies day to day. In class, they also work on colors, coordination, thinking outside of the box, and several other important things for little ones.
FINALLY participating in the parachute! YAY!
Addison's favorite: Swinging on the Bars!
It also has helped her become a better listener, follow instructions (sometimes), & we are currently working on waiting for our turn. If you are thinking of joining the Little Gym...do it! It has been very great for us and more successful each week.

On another note, I have an unhealthy addiction to Pinterest. I pin nearly every day & I try to actually do some of my pins at least once a week. I saw these cute & easy Mini Pizzas made from tortillas and we tried it out today. It was successful. Addison ate them up & they were quick and easy. Perfect.
They aren't pretty, but they are yummy!
& I'll end today's post with an adorable Addison picture. (:
